Analysis of Blended Concrete Cubes under Impact loading using ANSYS

Abstract Blended concretes, with the partial replacement of cement secondary cementitious material like fly ash, rice husk GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast Slag), silica fume etc. are gaining a wide range applications in civil engineering nowadays. The behaviour concrete structures has been studied by many researchers under different types loads impact load, wind earthquake load Impact loading analysis ship resistance design for marine structures, impact-resistant structural against military and terrorist attacks This study aims to perform FEM blended cubes load. Deformation stress response obtained from velocity simulations ANSYS Explicit dynamics module. Parametric done changing height impactor, shape boundary conditions supplementary material. It is observed that strength cube decreases an increase impact.
